Meet Zara
Zara
Hi I’m Zara! I live a crazy, fast paced life full of love, laughter and fun! I call the Sunshine Coast my home and I love to be outdoors – in the garden, at the beach, climbing mountains or running.
My focus in life and work is to help others. Growing up in a large and chaotic family, looking out for others has been built into my core.
As managing director for Evercare Support, I am committed to building a team of dedicated and highly principled people to sustain an organisational culture built on transparency, trust and integrity.
I understand the challenges of disability and caregiving, because on the other side of the NDIS space, I’m also a mum. I have 4 kids and a very busy neurodivergent household that always inspires the work I do.
With a background in business, community sector management, youth and support roles in schools, community and disability sectors, I have a unique insight into service provision for people with disability.
Always drawing on strengths of others, I am passionate about bringing people and resources together to develop long term supports that not only meet the needs of people with disability, but to help them build independence, connection and purpose in their lives.
