Meet Josh
Josh - Behaviour Support Practitioner
Hi, I’m Josh. I am a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner with a deep commitment to helping individuals build independence, thrive in their communities, and achieve their goals.
I have an intensive background as a youth worker in crisis housing, which has shaped my focus towards trauma-informed, transformative care.
Trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and the Three Pillars of Transformative Care, I look at behaviour through a lens of safety, connection, and understanding.
My approach is grounded by study in Social Sciences and backed by seven years of hands-on experience as an NDIS Disability Support Worker. Having spent years working directly alongside participants, I understand the day-to-day realities of disability support and the vital importance of practical, realistic strategies.
I believe that positive behaviour support is about enriching quality of life, not restricting it.
I am excited to collaborate closely with participants, families, and care teams to create meaningful, person-centred pathways forward.
Outside of work, you can find me Skateboarding, Playing Guitar, Fishing and attending Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Classes. I look forward to partnering with you!
